What is the gospel?
The gospel refers to the good news. Second, a message about salvation of our savior, Jesus Christ, who has brought peace and redemption to humankind.
Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ Is the Son of God & God himself. Also, the Word of God manifested in the flesh.
John 1-3
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. 1 In Him was life, and that life was the Light of men. 5 And the Light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 1:14
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only Begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.
Why did Jesus die for us?
Jesus died for our sins to save us by God's eternal judgment. Also, to restore the relationship between God and humanity due to sin by offering us eternal life if we believe in the Son, Jesus Christ who died for our place.
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
